If these guys really want to know why schools are starting to address homophobia and gender identity, they should read about what happened to Elijah Mendez--I posted the story just about this one. 12-year-old Mendez killed himself after being relentlessly bullied at school because his fellow classmates thought he was gay. His mother repeatedly asked the school to do something about it, but they didn't. If the heartless, homophobic, bigoted Christianists have their way, other LGBT students or those thought to be LGBT will get the same treatment as Elijah Mendez.
