Christianists and Islamic extremists are basically the same kind of people. They just come from different cultures and were brought up in different religions. Their absolutism binds them, and their unshakable belief that there is a god, they know what that god "wants", and that anybody who disagrees with them is against this god and therefore deserving of punishment.
