Perkins isn't really interested in winning the debate or presenting the best argument. He doesn't care if he makes his point with Matthews or Frank. He's playing to the camera, and specifically to his followers, and it doesn't matter to them if what Perkins says is true or not. It sounds good to them because they're bigots, and they're buying it. They eat it up like pigs at a trough. If you brought in social scientists to refute Perkins' claims about all this social science that supposedly supports what he's saying, he would go into how they're tools of homosexual activists and that they're distorting the "real science" to further the "homosexual agenda."
