They claim America used to be such a nicer place, and they use fear of what America might become if people don't accept their religious beliefs. Well, I remember the latter part of the '60s a little bit, and I remember the '70s very well, and I don't recall America being a nicer place back then. Ane one of the big news stories that stands out for me is Jim Jones and The Peoples Temple. I remember what happened to the members of the Peoples Temple when they decided to follow Jim Jones with blind faith. I remember very well the origins of the idiom "drinking the Kool-Aid". I will not be drinking the Kool-Aid.
