They both loved to shop, so Connor knew taking Hayden downtown that afternoon was perfect. It wasn’t officially a date, but Connor wanted things to go in that direction. And he wanted to buy Hayden something nice. Connor ditched his afternoon classes, but he could catch up. He also spent too much money, but he was sure his mom would send him a few extra dollars when he told her he met someone special.
